I have searched this site and found nothing that really meets my needs...so I decided to step out on faith and do it myself! The purpose of this group is to develop friendships with single individuals in their middle (young!) years. Being single at this time in life should not have to mean being lonely! I will need help with this so would appreciate volunteers stepping up to the plate to help plan gatherings, etc. I am putting a limited time on paying for the meet up group just to see what h …

This group is meant to be for toddlers between 1 and 3, and their parents. Lets focus on age appropriate indoor and outdoor play-dates during the week and weekend. You can post your own events freely! I'd like everyone who joins to share their daily activities by posting anything you wouldn't mind having company for, as a meet-up! If you're doing it anyway, and no one shows up, who cares? If people do come, well, that's awesome! I adore company, and I know the group is small for now - but we'll …

… I'm not striving for every project to cover your little one head to toe, HOWEVER, much of the fun of art at this age is the freedom to get messy so there will be lots of messy art projects. You'll always be warned well ahead of time of the details of each project so you can dress your child accordingly or bring a change of clothing. ALSO, a very wonderful aspect of a children's art group is that as a parent, you won't be ALONE in the cleanup! Again, this group is intended to open the doors of …

Meeting to conduct an open forum of business topics. Startups, growth strategies, succession, turn-arounds. Most business related topics would be encouraged. Meeting for food, drinks, and desserts and great conversation. Exchange ideas that work and those that do not. Brave the first meeting, I think you will consider it time well spent. If you have questions, email me at parker.devore@devoregroup.com http://vurl.me/HZUO
Yes, transplants. No, we not talking about hearts and kidneys. We are talking about open-minded, intelligent, outgoing people who have come to NW Arkansas from anywhere else. Started by a group of NW Arkansas newcomers, these friendly individuals are bringing 'transplants' together for no other reason than to get to know other people in NW Arkansas. No fundraising. No church groups. No bird watching. Since your arrival in NW Arkansas, you have probably been wondering… how do I meet new people li …

Hello, I know that there are a lot of fellow dog and animal lovers out there, who want to help out local shelters and rescue dogs in any way they can! Our meetup group will have happy hours, dinners, and socials- that will be fun and a great way to make new friends AND help local shelter and rescue dogs in the process! The "attendance fee" to come will be either a can of dog food, blanket, dog toys, or anything that will help local shelters- and then we will donate the items collected from the m …
We will try to Meet-up at least once a month, but I will try for every other week with help of an event organizer. We will try new restaurants in the NW Arkansas area and we'll visit some old places too! I'll switch back and forth between north, south, central to make driving equitable. Those of you who wish to do something after the dinner are welcome to let me know and I'll post that as well (movie, concert, live bands, etc.). This group is an adult group, a chance to escape from those lit …
There is a fantastic women's reading group (NWA Women's Book Group) but their meetings were on Tuesday's and my husband has soccer every Tuesday so I wanted to start a group closer to home (Bentonville and Rogers) that was open to men, women, in betweens alike! So, this group is for the reading men that wanted to join or the gas conscious who didn't want to travel so far! Let's put the fun back into reading!! I read books constantly and don't have anyone besides my husband to share them with. We …

Get together in each other's home for good food, wine and conversation. Each month we will have a theme (ie: Italian/Mexican/Seafood/etc) and will be assigned a dish to bring. This will be an smaller more intimate group than many of the 30+ meet up groups. The host member will provide main dish in their home and rest of us will bring a side dish and wine. With 12 members, we each will only have responsibility of being the host in our home, one time a year. It's great...please give it a try.
